A Knight's Sorrow

Words mean little to those I’ve hurt.
Or of this guilt within my veins,
That claws my chest through blacken heart,
And plays upon my maddened brain.

I could weep, or beg, or cry like babe,
Or fall upon my sword of shame.
I could walk upon this sun cursed earth,
Till my feet are bloodied pain.

But even with those tasks atone,
Naught quenched your sorrows be.
With my broken arms and fragile soul,
I plead upon your forgiveness please.

My name shall be a whisper,
Like sands upon the wind.
My face is but an echo,
A shadow from your past.

Your thoughts of me will trickle

But I shall never forget you,
For knowing is all I craved.
In knowing you, I knew myself,
And that you’re the one I loved.

Echoes Waltz

And once again, we dance this waltz,
Of broken hearts and empty steps.
With tearful joys that silence fills,
Twirling round till one does falter.

Now, like then, and always have,
I take the lead and spin you round.
I soothe your pain with no remorse,
You light my day with simple smile.

No lows, but highs, we dance the night,
Our giggled joys that echoes halls,
That flit away the shades of past,
Ghosts of shattered hearts at rest.

And as our laughter does reach its peak,
Your shade of love does steal you back.
And as you two do dance away,
I beg and plead for you to stay.

Broken… lost… I walk away,
To empty groves of lovers lost.
I weep upon the broken husks,
The love I gave, scared and spurned.

And in the silver light of moon,
I find you crying in the gloom.
I slowly bow, as you do curtsy,
And once again, we dance this waltz.

Angel of The Night

You are the moon that lights my night.
You are the stars that shines my path.
You are the waters that soothes my soul.
You are the wings that makes me fly.
You are the hand that lifts my heart.
You are the angel that I love.

Colours fade like autumn leaves,
As silence takes the stage.
Sumptuous feast of rotten fruits,
Tempered with spoilt wine.

Weeping heart and bleeding eyes,
Do mourn the loss of love.
As whispered lies rape my mind,
Whiskey numb the bones.

Body aches with waking death,
As lovers shade does moan.
Winding gears to creaking halt
As void now does grow.

Reflected Pain

Corrupt and bile from distant lies,
That stoop and stare with empty eyes.
A monstrous man with honeyed tongue,
That clutches upon my beating song.

I cut and slice at fetid flesh,
I hack and slash with baited breath.
Its wounds do open and bleeds about,
Veins so dry, with crimson sand.

It cries and wails like wounded babe,
And babbles about like drunken maid.
I stare into its eyes of pain,
It stares back through mirrored pane.

Whispered Gods

How can I fly with broken wings,
Burdened by my darkly dreams?
Sights I see that make me weep,
With absent eyes and sockets bleed.

Through deafened ears, I hear a sound,
Stir of echoes does surround.
The maddened screams of distant gods,
Plague my waking shadowed thoughts.

Spiders crawl beneath my flesh,
I claw upon my bloodied chest.
With severed tongue and bleeding maw,
Lies I speak, no longer more.

Tooth Fairy

In the dark of nightly sleep,
Do fae of teeth, silent creep.
Crawling out of shadow’s gloom,
To under beds of baby’s room.

Reaching to the childer’s head,
Fae do dream of toothy bread.
All the while, their wings aflutter,
With whispered laughs, they do mutter.

Steely claws that slice and flay,
That tear the child’s flesh away.
From iron maws that bones do crack,
A single child is but a snack.

By morn’s light, they slink away,
Back to twisted lands of fae.
While parents find the shocking scene,
Of Timmy’s corpse, flesh picked clean.

Sinner’s Saint

Through shadows and mirrors and sickly thin,
Do the boggits and brownies come creeping in.
Of brambles and bushels and hollows den,
Come angels and demons, full of sin.

Of wings of ice and eyes aflame,
Of judgement’s sword that none can blame.
Save the sinner of sins that yet to come,
Of absent gods in kingdoms come.

So here we are, that monkeys be,
Of accursed gift of free will to see.
That makes a sinner from hearts of saints,
In a tapestry of muddled paints.
